On February 9, 2024, Round Table Com, Inc. coordinated 11 of the 15 companies that hosted Toshima Ward-run Senkawa Junior High School’s SDGs field trip (corporate interviews).

Senkawa Junior High School conducted this corporate interview as part of the first-year students’ integrated learning program and their SDGs curriculum. Senkawa Junior High School’s SDGs curriculum spans three years and
・First Year: Learning about the SDGs
・Second Year: Deepening understanding of the SDGs
・Third Year: Sharing information about the SDGs
is carried out under this framework.
Of these, in the first-year course “Understanding the SDGs,” students first used worksheets to reinforce their knowledge, then played an SDGs board game and created “SDGs in the News,” and finally conducted interviews with companies.
As part of their preparatory work for the company visits, the students—divided into teams—researched the companies they would be visiting, prepared a list of questions, and attended a “workshop on information gathering” (led by a newspaper reporter) before the day of the visit arrived.
After that, we will draft thank-you letters and compile a post-event newsletter.
